King Street Capital Management Acquires Majority Stake in Colovore, a Silicon Valley Data Center Operator

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing data center capabilities, King Street Capital Management, L.P. (“King Street”), a prominent global investment firm, has announced the acquisition of a majority ownership stake in Colovore, a leading Silicon Valley-based data center operator specializing in liquid-cooled, high-density colocation for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.

This transaction underscores King Street’s commitment to addressing the escalating demand for advanced cooling technologies in the data center industry. With a focus on supporting next-generation chips and power-dense platforms driving AI and HPC innovation, Colovore’s expertise in liquid-cooled data centers positions it uniquely to meet the evolving needs of high-density customers.

Brian Higgins, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of King Street, emphasized Colovore’s track record in serving industry leaders within AI and HPC sectors. He expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, “Colovore’s exclusive focus on liquid-cooled data centers, coupled with its successful operating history, makes it well-positioned to navigate the challenges facing legacy air-cooled facilities.”

Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Colovore plans to expand into key Tier 1 markets across the United States under King Street’s sponsorship.
